Delivering a world-class McLaren workshop for Jardine in Berkshire
Estimated to be one of the largest dedicated McLaren Service Centres in the world, here are images of the McLaren workshop that CCS (a Dura strategic partner) completed for Jardine Motor Group in Bracknell.
The project encompassed the relocation of the Ascot Service Department into a refurbished Honda workshop. The original Honda facility contained a McLaren body centre, but significant refurbishment was required to deliver a modern space meeting the exacting standards of the McLaren brand. This included the removal of aged in-ground lifts, in favour of two-post versions with special arms to suit the sports car range, including the Senna, Speedtail and Elva models.
Dura’s customised furniture solution followed detailed consultations with Jardine and the wider team, to incorporate the client’s latest requirements while seamlessly blending existing furniture, originally installed in Ascot back in 2016.
Together with new oil tanks, Samoa fluid distribution equipment and associated integrated facilities, the project was completed to budget within a tight timescale – delivering a fantastic space that stands as a premier destination for McLaren customers in the South East.
