Dura’s outstanding workshop solution for world-renowned aerospace company in Derby
This prestigious aerospace company based in Derby demands the best of themselves and expects nothing less of their suppliers, without exception. So, when their Maintenance Team Leader approached Dura to re-design their maintenance workshop, our team knew the highest standards would be expected through each step of the project.
Throughout an extensive consultation period, Dura worked closely with the Maintenance Team Leader and his 38 engineers to fully understand their requirements for the new workshop as well as meeting the broader requirements of the business. Individual workstations, incorporating static and mobile drawer units, as well as additional storage for larger items. The design also included a continuous worksurface with integrated power points, to deliver a clean and organised solution that was so essential to the brief.
“Our workshop is stunning, and the team is over the moon,” said the Maintenance Team Leader. “I love the colour and with it being so much brighter now, it has meant we haven’t had to change the lighting. It’s also good to see how proud the team are of the space; I often see them cleaning down their area and giving their neighbour a nudge to do the same. It has been a real pleasure working with Dura on this project, and we look forward to further stages.”
