Mixed brief
Like many, the original garage was an underused blank canvas. Inspired by the Dura Garages gallery, the customer saw its potential and aimed to relocate utilities there, freeing up space elsewhere. The design had to meet a multi-purpose brief, transforming the large, undefined area into a functional part of the home.
Multi-purpose design
Every garage design begins with understanding the customer’s needs, allowing us to create a tailored layout with custom elements. This garage blends form and function perfectly. The main cabinet run combines storage, a sink, workspace, and an integrated tumble dryer. Durable black laminate offers a low-maintenance surface with drainage, while cupboards below and tall cabinets provide versatile storage. Near the garage door, drawer units keep tools and accessories organised, complemented by a 3m worktop with power sockets and a stainless-steel back panel. Overhead, gas-strut cupboards add even more smart storage.
The bespoke touch
At the rear of the garage, a bespoke showcase features three low-level storage units, with custom shelving, stainless steel back panels, and lighting to highlight the customer’s memorabilia—perfectly complementing their Ferrari 296 GTS. To refine the design, we provided colour samples and a photo-realistic 3D render, helping the customer visualise and fine-tune the space.
